Nice how the road meets up with the two lower corners and travels into the frame (and continues). There's definitely a story to be told.
Better lighting would help ... the bright spots are distracting. Try this shots at different times of day. A good rule of thumb is an hour before and after both sunrise and sunset ... this often yields interesting light and shadows.
Also, cloudy days are better than sunny. Bright sun often wreaks havoc on an image.
